What is a virtual event? A virtual event is an event that you can attend from the comfort and convenience of your home, office, or wherever else you can think of, through your personal computer or mobile device. We are bringing the NESO Annual Meeting to YOU for a unique experience!
How do I register for the NESOCON 2020 virtual event? Register for the virtual event by clicking on any of the REGISTER buttons at NESOCON.com. Follow the on-screen instructions by filling out the information required to register and pay by credit card card. This process will register you with a unique ID that lets us know that you should be receiving additional information regarding how to attend the conference via your computer or mobile device.
When will I receive the instructions for attending the virtual event? NESO will send you the necessary instructions prior to the event. Make sure that the email address associated with your registration is accurate and up to date so that there is no delay in receiving our communications.
Do I have access to all of the educational sessions and events on the virtual platform? In a word, yes! You will be given the opportunity to select which sessions you’d like to attend virtually. It is up to you to decide which sessions interest you. You may attend as many or as few sessions as you want.
Will I be able to see the presenters for each session? Yes. You will be able to see all general session and educational session speakers along with their presentations.
Can I ask questions during the educational sessions? We encourage you to ask questions at any time using the Chat feature. This is a social Q&A tool that allows virtual attendees to pose questions from within the online conference system. These questions are filtered through a session moderator who will pose the question to the presenter if the question is selected.
How can I still meet up with my friends and colleagues that I usually see at the NESO Annual Meeting? NESOCON 2020 offers many opportunities to interact with other attendees, including a Networking Lounge and video discussions.
How will I earn CE credit for the educational sessions? All live sessions eligible for CE will be marked as such. A certificate will be emailed to all those who registered and attended as a doctor within 30 days after the meeting.
Can I access and view recordings of any sessions from the conference? Your virtual conference registration includes access to all educational session recordings after the event concludes. You can view any sessions you missed out on as soon as the recordings for those sessions are made available at NESOCON.com. All recorded sessions will be available for you ON DEMAND to access at no additional charge.
How do I attend the NESOCON Virtual Exhibit? Simply click on the “Exhibition” sign in the main lobby and you will enter into the NESOCON Exhibit. There will be prompts for you to travel from booth to booth.
Can I actually visit with individual exhibitors in the NESOCON Exhibit Hall? NESO is offering two dates when our exhibit hall becomes interactive for attendees and exhibitors, or as we call it, LIVE! Attendees will be able to schedule appointments with individual exhibitors at their booths starting on October 6th. The appointments will take place over Zoom calls on Friday, November 6th and Saturday, November 7th. Attendees can also chat with individual exhibitors on Friday, November 6th and Saturday, November 7th.
Will I still receive a meeting bag? NESO will be mailing out unique NESO “swag” Boxes with branded items you won’t want to throw away! The first 250 participants who register by September 15 will receive a NESO box. Register Early! One box will be shipped per Office group registration.
